Volunteer: How you can help the work of Mission in your diocese

We rely on thousands of volunteer supporters who work within their own parishes to fulfil their call to Mission. But we need more volunteers to join our mission teams and help us meet the growing needs of the younger churches.

Could you commit some of your spare time to support APF-Mill Hill’s work in your parish or diocese? For most of this work you don’t need any particular expertise, just a commitment to Mission and some spare time.

Above all, right now we need lay people to help our team of Mill Hill Diocesan Organisers to conduct appeals in parishes throughout England and Wales.

Whenever you knock on a door to collect a Red Box, or deliver an APF magazine, or bring people together for a meeting, or pray for missionaries, or fundraise for Mission, or organise events to educate and inform - you are helping others see God’s love for them.

‘Go out to the whole world. Proclaim the Good News!’

(Mark 16:15)

How you can help: the volunteer ladder

There are so many ways in which you can support the missionary work of APF-Mill Hill in your own area.

Volunteering within your parish could take as little as a couple of hours a month. Prayers are offered in gratitude for our many supporters at the daily Mass at the shrine of St Thérèse in Lisieux, and they are remembered each day at Mass in the Mill Hill Generalate. Every Mill Hill priest offers Mass for APF members during the month of June.

You can join us on any step of the volunteer ladder
