Please join with the Holy Father in praying:
January
That all Christian Churches give authentic witness to the Good News and move toward the full unity of all Christians
February
That the Church in Africa may promote reconciliation, justice and peace as it prepares for the special Synod for Africa
March
That Church leaders and people in the People's Republic of China may be the sign and instrument of unity, communion and peace
April
That Christians will be courageous where the rights of women and children are denied and where the poor and weak are oppressed
May
That recently-founded Catholic Churches may be ready and willing to share in the mission of the whole Church to the world
June
That Churches operating in regions marked by violence may be sustained by the love and prayer of all Catholics
July
That the Church may be the nucleus of a humanity reconciled and reunited in the one family of God
August
That persecuted Christians may have their human rights, equality and religious freedom recognised
September
That trusting in the Holy Spirit, Christians in Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar may courageously proclaim the Gospel
October
That all the people of God may eagerly assume their missionary responsibility – the highest service to humankind
November
That believers of all faiths may bear witness to the God of peace by the testimony of their lives and their spirit of dialogue
December
That, at Christmas, the peoples of the earth may recognise in Jesus the light of the world and open their hearts to him
