200,000 Catholics in England and Wales are members of APF-Mill Hill. Last year, our members raised a total of £2,298,349. This was divided 60/40 between APF and Mill Hill.
Donations made to the APF through the Red Boxes and Annual Membership go directly to:
- Building schools, churches and seminaries in dioceses where the Church is poor or very new
- Practical education and health programmes to help children and adults overcome poverty and injustice
- Training local leaders to serve the Church: men and women, religious and lay, young people and adults
- Supporting missionaries in isolated regions of the world
- Training and supporting thousands of catechists who teach the Catholic Faith and provide spiritual support in their own communities
- Promoting reconciliation and a culture of peace in communities torn by war and conflict
